The alarm system is an Ademco Vista 20P panel, with two 6160V keypads – one in the small hallway and one in the master bedroom.  The Owners’ Manual is available HERE.

The hallway keypad allows for quick disarming of the system when entering through the garage or front door, and the master bedroom keypad allows for easy arming/disarming when sleeping and waking up.  The 6160V keypads also have panic buttons for Fire and Police to quickly call emergency responders if necessary.

(3) vehicle remote controls are provided to allow you to arm and disarm the system easily from your car.

Glass breakage sensors are located throughout the house to protect large or vulnerable windows and doors from entry by breakage.

Door and window opening sensors are located on windows and doors throughout.

Cellular dialing and battery backup in the event that the power and phone lines are cut.

24/7 live monitoring by Pointe Alarm, monitoring is paid through October 2010.  No yearly contract required.
